Inspired by the research talk of a colleague, I assembled a small team to develop an RTS where getting the commands to your units is part of the challenge - thanks to limited transmission ranges and high energy costs. The prototype however quickly gravitated towards being a puzzle game, which is now pursued further.
Aside from designing the overall architecture, my main resposibilities in this project included the rendering code and the data structures for defining levels.
